Vieille Charité - Marseille, France 2001
Third image for the "Human spots"-series.
The photograph was taken on a warm, wonderful day in Marseille, France, when my friends were too tired to explore this fascinating Mediterranean city. Well, after one week of exhausting sightseeing in Provence, they were excused.
Nevertheless, I wandered off alone.
On my trip, I came along the impressive building of the Vieille Charité. Planed in the middle of the 17th century, this welfare institution was destined for the paupers in Marseille, but wasn't properly established until 1749. After the French Revolution, it was eventually used as orphanage and hospice. Restored from 1968 until 1986, it now serves as a location for multiple festive and scientific events.
As for the human spot - I hope, you can see her???

Interessante Art deine Fotos zu präsentieren. Ich persönlich finde Dinge wie der Rahmen, ein Schriftzug, etc. können ein Bild zerstören - oder erst richtig gut machen. Die Wirkung wird meiner Meinung nach manchmal etwas unterschätzt bzw. einfach nicht genutzt (ich spreche von dA).
Okay, klingt so als wüsste ich, was ich tue, stimmt nicht, aber ich sag halt was ich mir denke
Und nun zu deinem Bild: da finde ich die Idee mit dem speziellen Rahmen eben wunderbar. Ich könnte mir noch einen Titel vorstellen, der da im weißen Rahmen platziert ist...aber vielleicht willst du bewusst keinen Text in das Bild bringen.
Finde das Foto an sich auch sehr schön, ich mag solche Bilder, wo die details eine wichtige Rolle spielen.
